Grilled Treviso Radicchio drizzled with Balsamic Reduction
Treviso--a longer, thinner radicchio variety--is an excellent autumn grilling vegetable.
Although it is a bitter lettuce, when grilled Treviso takes on a juicy sweetness.
First, cut Treviso in half. Brush with oil & grill open-side down for 4 minutes, then turn and grill 4 minutes on other side. Drizzle with extra olive oil, balsamic reduction (or regular balsamic), salt and pepper.
Serve as a simple, warm, and delicious alternative to a salad.
