Apple Crisp

Ingredients: 
2 1/2 pounds of apples (gravenstein suggested), peeled, cored, cut
1 tabelspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cut oats
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 stick butter
Directions: 

Preheat over to 375.

Fill a 2 quart 2 inch high baking dish with cut cored apples, cut into medium, 1 inch chunks (if you'd like to peel them, it's an optional step up to your tastes/patience).

Using a pastry blender or 2 knives, cut butter into dry ingredients until the mix resembles coarse breacrumbs.

Scatter toppings evenly over cut up fruit. Settle crumbs by tapping the dish on the counter.

Bake until golden brown & bubbling, about 50-55 minutes
