Spring time at Coke Farm!

It's spring time and there are so many new things going on at Coke Farm!

Our delicious Strawberries are in season; find recipes for Strawberry Rhubarb Pie and Strawberry Shortcake on our recipe page!

Making a come back is mâche (also called Lewiston cornsalad, lamb's lettuce, fetticus, or field salad); traditionally served with a french vinagrette and hard boiled eggs, this new vegetable is in the valarian family, and will be availiable soon at Coke Farm. If you'd like to know more about it click here or here.

Frissee and escarole also newly available, to find recipes, click on the Recipe tab above!

Coke Farm salesman Olivier recently designed Motely Kale (photo here), a blended bunch of Green, Dino, Red Bor and Red Russian Kales. Perhaps this will be the spring mix of the hearty greens! If you'd like to try it out, please come visit us at the Palo Alto Saturday Farmer's Market which is starting up this week after the long winter break! You can also find us at Menlo Park on Sunday's, as usual. If you want information on our Farmer's Markets, click here.

Coke Farm would like to welcome Joseph Gomez to the Coke Farm family! He will be heading our new certified kitchen, and will be fashioning some exciting new products.

Enjoy the spring sun and remember to check the blog for updates on what's going on at Coke Farm!
